RadMatrix exists because imaging stopped being someone else’s job.
Nurses, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants are expected to interpret, question, and act on imaging every day, and are almost never formally taught to do it. Nursing curricula devote extraordinary attention to laboratory values and almost none to films. The gap shows up immediately in practice:
At the bedside
- The nurse who sees the chest film first and needs to know whether the line is where the note says it is
- The nurse who has to recognize that a study result changes the urgency of the situation before anyone rounds
- Anyone responsible for contrast safety, renal considerations, screening for implanted devices before MRI, or shielding and dose stewardship
At the point of ordering
- The NP or PA ordering imaging who needs to know which study answers the clinical question — and which one only adds contrast risk, radiation, and delay
- Any clinician who has to explain to a patient what the study will involve and why it is being done
The platform teaches modality fundamentals and physics at a working level, systematic review approaches by body region, normal-versus-abnormal pattern recognition, common and can’t-miss findings, appropriateness and study selection, contrast and safety, and the vocabulary to hold a credible conversation with radiology. How the products are built
Every connection is encrypted end to end, and no third-party learning platform holds your data. Each product is an independent service. They may share a domain family so the sites can link to each other; that is discovery, not a combined subscription. Public DNS and transport may use a listed reachability provider; that is how you reach us, not where your records live. See Trust and Sub-processors.
RadMatrix is governed by its own privacy policy, because it is a genuinely different piece of software. NexGen Mastery keeps your learning record on our servers so your progress follows you between devices. RadMatrix is local-first: your studies, annotations and review schedule live in your own browser and, by default, never leave your device — which also means we cannot read them, and you are responsible for your own backups. If you run RadMatrix on your own server, you are the data controller, not us. RadMatrix's policy is linked from inside the application and says so plainly.
